If you've found this page, you've also received an email with a link to a .zip file which contains your new firmware.
Contact us if this is not the case.
Steps:
1. Save, then extract the .zip file somewhere convenient on your PC.
2. Disconnect all power supply, serial and DMX cables from the DMX-Serial interface.
3. Open the chassis and connect a regular USB cable between the computer and the interface.
4. Power LED should illuminate, DMX LED may flash in some sort of pulse train.
5. Press the pushbutton near the USB jack for 3-4 seconds. One of the LEDs on the far left should illuminate,
then flash quickly about 10 times. Your computer may make a sound signifying that new USB hardware has been found.
This signifies that the system has entered 'boot mode.' Click / agree to any 'found new hardware' messages.
Once in Boot Mode, release the pushbutton.
6. Open the file called 'BLPro' from the extracted ZIP file. A window should appear on the screen with a picture of the interface you're using.
7. From the middle 'program' menu, choose 'program.'
8. Progress bar should appear on screen as new firmware is loaded. Click 'OK' when it's done.
9. Computer will made the 'USB disconnect' sound. Remove USB cable, re-attach power and data cables as needed.
10. System is ready to run with new firmware.
