Power is 16 gauge stranded twisted pair. Data is 22 gauge twisted pair with a foil shield and drain wire. Polarized / latching Molex connectors at each end allow pixel strings to be placed far away from the power supply and DMX generator.
In the control room, these cables plug in to a wiring harness with matching connectors. Thus, the 12V 10A switching power supply and 2 universes of DMX generator can communicate with the outside world.
