Details for Placing an Order
We accept all major credit cards, institutional purchase orders, international money orders, company checks and cash via carrier pigeon.
All equipment includes a 30-day return policy, no questions asked*. We also offer a one year warranty on everything sold.
Businesses requesting credit should fax company information and trade references to the number listed in the ‘contact’ section. Business credit is typically extended on a Net 30 basis, with your first order guaranteed by a major credit card.
International Orders are always welcome. We ship internationally nearly every week, and with enough volume to warrant Christmas cards from both UPS and FedEx and UPS each December.
The online shopping cart calculates freight based Post Office and UPS rates. If this works for you, the transaction may be finished right here on our site. If you require FedEx delivery, contact us for a custom quote. We can also ship against your UPS / FedEx / DHL account if that’s more convenient.
As of 8/2016, we also have a shipping account with DHL. Their rates are very competitive at about 60% of what UPS / FedEx charge, and they are great at pushing packages through customs quickly. Unfortunately, we don’t have a way to generate live price quotes. If you prefer DHL delivery, send an email to ‘sales AT response-box.com’ with your details and we will organize all the details.
In any case, all methods are trackable online and fully insured, and your shipment will arrive within 6-10 business days (USPS) or 3-4 business days (UPS / FedEx). For reference, a 2-3 pound parcel would likely cost $34 or $130 respectively. But we’re happy to give you an exact quote when needed.
You are responsible for all customs duties, VAT fees, etc.
Overnight Shipping is generally available. However, to ensure proper packing, orders need to be received by 3:00 Mountain Time. Please call to confirm availability before selecting overnight freight in the shopping cart. The shop number is (801) 999-8369.
Update April 2015 We are no longer offering Express (overnight) USPS delivery within the USA. Five of our our last eight overnight packages, despite having guaranteed next day delivery times from the post office shipping system, have missed their deadlines. For the last decade we recommended USPS Express Mail, as it was very reliable and cost about 50% less than the express offerings from UPS and FedEx.
Those days appear to be over.
That said, USPS Priority Mail has been very consistent for 2-3 day delivery, and Saturday counts as a day. Very often a Priority Mail package shipped Friday afternoon will arrive on Monday.
Unfortunately, when deliveries are repeatedly delayed beyond our control, it makes us look bad. For overnight arrival, please choose one of several UPS options in the shopping cart.
All equipment ships with an international switching-type power supply which accepts 80-240v AC and outputs the voltage required for our equipment. However, the supply has an American-style plug. For use internationally, a plug adapter may be required to connect with local mains power.
